Review - Wachusett Brewing Company's Octoberfest
"Deep copper colored marzen style amber with a delicate six specialty malt balance. Available Fall." -- Wachusett Brewing
This pours a light amber color and settles medium amber with a large, fizzy light-brown head. Aroma has a light hint of sweet with a tinge of alcohol, and a light malt scent. Initial taste is lightly bitter that takes its time moving to the light sweet finish, with a short duration. Light to medium on the mouth, soft carbonation blankets the palate following a watery film.
Reviewer's notes: Sean says it smelled better than it tasted.
