Review - The People's Pint's Sprocket Kolsch

"A blonde ale, light in color and taste with a nice grain flavor and a slightly citrus aroma. Kolsch has characteristics similar to a German style lager and is excellent with a lemon or as a Shandy (lemonade added)." -- The Peoples Pint

Pours a thin, medium honey color with a slight haze, capped off by a frothy, white one-finger head that quickly diminishes. Weak lacing as a result of the thin body. True to the style, it has a very faint aroma, but we pick up some yeast and citrus notes. Light, crisp, and refreshing, it has a faint bitter taste up front that peters out at the finish that, despite the creamy texture, leaves our mouths very dry.
