Review - Three Floyds Brewing Company's Pride and Joy

"Three Floyds interpretation of an American mild. A smooth medium bodied session beer with a bright citrus hop aroma and finish." -- Three Floyds Brewing Company

Pours a medium amber color with a fizzy, sticky off-white head, leaving decent lacing behind as it quickly diminishes over the deep amber, clear body. Aroma is of grassy hops with a very gentle citrus undertone. The second pour produces a cloudy body, assumably due to some sediment in the bottle. The first taste is simply sweet, carried by a nice carbonation that does wonders for the tongue. It finishes up with a strikingly bitter taste that puckers us up like a grapefruit with a long duration. Light to medium bodied, it has an oily texture with a dry finish.
