Review - Middle Ages Brewing Company's 11th Anniversary Double Wheat Ale
No commercial description
Pours a light golden color with a massive, frothy off-white head with excellent retention. Very active body, it has excellent lacing. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy for the style, but the hops diminish as we sit and wait to drink, revealing the wheat characteristics that are significantly more subdued. Citrus notes right before we drink. Initially, a very light bitter taste carries through some active carbonation, but the bitter builds and builds towards the finish, leaving us with more of an IPA finish. Light to medium bodied, it has a creamy texture with soft carbonation
