Review - Woodstock Inn Brewery's Pig's Ear Brown Ale
"A hearty nutty flavor with a sweet finish." -- Woodstock Inn Brewery
Pours a dark reddish-brown with a large, frothy, off-white head. Good lacing with a mostly lasting head. Aroma is buttery with hints of honey and sweet cream. Initial taste is light bitter, building to a moderately sweet finish. Light to medium in body, it has a watery texture and soft carbonation. Taste lets us down after a very promising aroma.
