This black lager pours a dark brown, murky body with an average, fizzy light-brown head. Fair lacing with a fully diminishing head. Aroma is of light toasted bread malts, alcohol, and medicine. Initial taste is lightly bitter, creeping up to a moderately bitter finish with a short duration. Light on the mouth, it is both watery and oily with almost no carbonation despite an active body in the glass.
