Review - Harpoon Brewery's Octoberfest
"Several malts, including Munich and chocolate, deliver the malty character. The delicate hop aroma is not overpowering and the Willamette hops provide a gentle bitterness which balance well with the residual sweetness." -- Harpoon Brewery
Pours a dark amber color with a fizzy, light-brown head that is quick to dissipate. Good lacing. Aroma is of moderate strength malts with bread characteristics, as well as an alcohol scent. Light sweet initial taste, sweeping to a moderately bitter finish with average duration. Light on the mouth, it is watery with some soft carbonation.
