Review - Boston Beer Company - Samuel Adams Summer Ale
"" -- Boston Beer Company
This is the last of the summer reviews for 2006. It pours a cloudy yellow, settles a hazy yellow with a small, fizzy off-white head. Virtually no lacing with a fully diminishing head. Aroma is of citrusy, lemony hops and light yeast. Not a very strong aroma. Initial taste is moderately sweet, turning to a lightly acidic taste at the finish with an average duration. Light on the mouth, it has a watery consistency with flat carbonation. This is much better on tap. This is also a beer we look forward to in the summertime. On this same evening, we reviewed the Brewer - Patriot Collection, and this blew all of them out of the water.
