Stone Cat

Review - Mercury Brewing Company's Stone Cat Blonde Ale

"Golden blonde and light-bodied, this crisp ale is the perfect thirst quencher." -- Mercury Brewing

Pours a golden yellow color with brilliant clarity, very little head to speak of, and very little lacing, although what there was was bright white in color. Settles a still, clear body. Aroma is soft with some soft wheat and malts, and some fruity esthers without sour or citrus notes. Initial taste has a sharp hop bite, and mellows towards the finish with a smooth maltiness leaving a nice mouthfeel. Light bodied, the malty body leaves the palate dry and chewy with soft carbonation. Tasty and refreshing, this is a nice summer offering.
