Review - Troegs Brewing Company's Pale Ale
"Tröegs Pale Ale is an American style Pale Ale that is aggressively hopped with Northwest Cascades and balanced with Belgian crystal malts to create a hoppy, copper-colored crisp ale. An excellent example of a classic American Pale Ale." -- Tröegs
Pours a medium yellow color with an off-white fizzy to frothy head with some nice fizzy rings. Slightly opaque body with fairly active carbonation. Aroma is superbly hoppy with some very nice grapefruit notes and some soapiness from the yeast. Initial taste is watery and lightly bitter, but the bitterness builds towards the finish leaving a nice sharp hop bite. Thin, watery body with a perky sour mouthfeel and a dry finish with soft carbonation. Aroma is fantastic and the finish is clean and sharp.
